Casa Lux Tavira – The Details

The Space

Casa Lux Tavira is a stunning 3-bedroom 143 m2 modern house in Luz de Tavira. Situated within a secure gated complex, it is just a 7-minute drive away from the historic town of Tavira. Access into the complex is via an access code.
The front of the villa provides an open terrace area with loungers which overlook the communal pool area. The entrance gate to the pool area is just meters away from the front door. Outdoor lighting provides the opportunity to sit outside all evening long.

Living Room

Spacious, light living area with two sofas in the TV area, in the entry there is a guest WC room with a toilet and basin.
The rear of the living area flows into a dining room with a large table and 6 chairs with a look out to the garden area. The living and dining room area have been tastefully furnished with light and subtle furnishings to give the room a bright feel. 
The air conditioning offers a cool supply of air in the summer months and can also serve as heater during the winter months. A wine fridge will ensure the beautiful Portuguese red wines are stored at 18 ̊C.  

Kitchen

The kitchen in this villa is spacious and practical, whilst being well equipped with all necessary appliances. You will find them well stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, plates and much more. The villa provides a coffee machine, toaster, kettle along with a microwave, a full-size fridge freezer, electric hob, oven, dishwasher, and a washing machine for any laundry.

Garden

The dining area is connected to the garden area, via sliding doors. The landing area contains two clothes drying racks that are connected to the ceiling. The garden is paved with the famous Portuguese ‘calçada’ tiles, with an outdoor dining table with 6 chairs and a large parasol that can rotate 180 degrees. 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The upper floor contains 3 bedrooms, all with individual air conditioning units. 
The ensuite master bedroom has a terrace balcony facing out over the front of the villa. The room benefits from a wall of fitted wardrobes and is set with a double king-size 180 x 200m bed with high quality mattresses and a NASA foam topper. The ensuite bathroom includes toilet, basin and shower over bath. The floor to ceiling windows of the bedroom offers natural light during the day with shutters to block out the light at night.
The second bedroom is made up of two twin beds (which can be put together), with a mirror and dressing table and plenty of wardrobe space. This bedroom is finished in a stylish splash of brightly colored wall art. Air conditioning is located discreetly behind a cupboard door in the wardrobe. The bedroom also has a small balcony looking out at the fields behind the complex.
The third bedroom looks out to the same view as the second bedroom from the window. This room also consists of two twin beds with matching bedside tables and a lamp and an air conditioning unit but with slightly smaller wardrobe space tucked behind the door as you enter the room.
The spacious upstairs family bathroom contains a walk-in glass shower, toilet, bidet and basin with a large mirror above and plug socket for shaving appliances.

Private Roof Terrace

The spiral staircase leads up to the private roof terrace at the top of the property. It provides a panoramic view of the mountains, the sea in the distance and the complex with the shared pools. The roof is equipped with solar panels and can be a great spot for some private sunbathing!

Communal pools

The extensive communal swimming pool is gated for the safety of smaller children and is a few meters away from the villa's front door. Each of the three blocks in the compound contain one large pool and a small children pool. The pool can be overlooked from the villas front terrace area for those who need to keep an eye on little ones. The area inside the complex is very secure with its gated key code entrance.

Garage

On the lower ground floor, down the stairs on the right when entering the property is the underground garage. This large well-lit space has its own electric door which leads out to an underground corridor linking all the properties to the entrance ramp to outside. The entrance ramp also has an electric door to ensure only residents can enter the underground parking area. 

Self-Check-In

At the front door of house 3M you will find a key-box. On the day of arrival, you will receive the code of the box so you can enter the house at any time. Shortly after your arrival, your host will come over to share some details of the complex and the house.
